So, I brought my boys along for this shoot because of undisclosed reasons and I think I was more worried about them running out on the street than the dogs.
Once again God blessed us with amazing weather and it was perfect to showcase this beautiful lady and her little ones!

What a beautiful day it was Saturday! Unfortunately most of the fall leaves were already gone, so the locations we had in mind were not going to work. I think we found great spots though and were able to create the warm fall feeling we wanted.
What an awesome family to work with! Not only gorgeous but also incredibly funny.
Our first stop was by the river. I slipped about three times while climbing around the muddy river bank, but it was worth it!

Next we went to “The Blue Wall”. Probably the best find I ever made! These girls are beautiful!

As always, I make the actual couple be affectionate. Of course it embarrasses the kids more than the parents…
I love these shots!

One of my favorite shots of the day.

Wow, what an absolutely gorgeous day! The weather was perfect, the property we were on was perfect, the family was stunning… if only Lexie would have cooperated more. The code word “chocolate” did not quite work when I tried it…
Lexie would be the dog.
I could not have asked for a better day to shoot pictures. God’s creation amazes me over and over again!
Here a few samples of the family.

What a stunning couple.

A handsome young man.

A beautiful young lady.

And an adorable goofball.

My favorite right now is this one. It was Mark’s idea and the girls surprised Drew who kind of had a feeling they were up to no good…

At one point someone discovered that all the leaves on the floor were covered with spiderwebs.

And the beautiful sunset. God is so creative.

And both together. If you look close enough you can see the webs again!

Today I had the pleasure of shooting maternity pictures of this lovely woman who should get sued for looking this good while pregnant and ready to deliver in just a few weeks! Really stunning and beautifully glowing pregnant lady. And of course the rest of the family is gorgeous as well.

We spent some great days with my beautiful sister in Chicago and I had the privilege to take some family pictures. I also took some pictures of all four cousins…. not one where all are looking the same way. I tried.
The colors were beautiful outside.

Today was so much fun! I loved the location of the farm that Adam and Stephanie live on and I was thrilled to see so much stuff downtown that I wouldn’t have seen, if we hadn’t walked.
We used one of the tobacco barns on the farm and the lighting and the smell
was amazing.

We used another barn but after a few pictures quickly moved away from the location because of this beauty:

Adam is an amazing guy because everytime I asked a question about what they wanted he would say: “Whatever she wants.”

So we moved the location to downtown Hoptown. Oh the possibilities…

With a quick and very loud interruption of the train itself.

Which was worth waiting for this shot:

More will follow after I come back into town later this week.

Today I had a great time taking pictures of Amy and Ricky. They were amazing to work with and though the weather started out strange and rainy, and we were limited to time due to darkness setting in soon, we still managed to produce several pictures to my liking.
And the Lord provided us with an awesome color palette as backdrops!
It started out with seeing this rainbow on the way to the location.

Though all these were taken on the same property, there were several different scenic venues.

It is always cool when people voice their own ideas. It allows me as a photographer to be sure that they are getting what they want.

Next we used this old forgotten house.

After we heard something move inside the house, we decided to move on to greener pastures…

And then two of my favorites so far…

Adrian was kind enough to let me “borrow” Logan to take these pictures. I learned a lot and am so thankful for the opportunity! Thank you again, Adrian. Here are just a few snapshots.

And my personal favorite!

I had the awesome privilege today to take the 6 Month Pictures for little Collin! He was so amazingly cooperative that it was hard for me to stop…
The most important pictures of the shoot were the special pictures with his grandfather and Collin’s special outfit! It was such a pleasure to be the one to create those images for them.

Such a happy Boy!

Look at those eyes! Such a heartbreaker.

This last one is my personal favorite. Jonah obviously thinks Collin is family and so there should be no reason why he shouldn’t be in the picture with them!
