Alright, I have to say that I admire Brandi for being brave and choosing the gorgeous outfit she did because it was soooooo windy last Saturday!!!  And with that, cold.

Hard to describe this shoot.  It was cold and windy outside, but the warmth and love these two radiated was inspiring!  I cannot wait for their wedding in March!  Besides the fact, that next to my trusty digital Nikon I get to also use my 35 mm Film camera at their wedding, I am already so excited to spend some more time with these two and share in their perfect day.  They are ready for this! :)

AJ – Sneak Peek

As usual, I need to be working in other things, but this handsome little man kept my attention and so here is a little Sneak Peek. :)

AJ was such a trooper and cooperated beyond expectation.  I can’t say that about his brothers (three very tall, handsome, attention craving dogs), however we did manage to get one family picture with all of them.  It’s not featured here, but can you believe they are actually all looking into the camera? (Except AJ, who slept through that part… )

I love the littlest ones.  It’s the adventure of the unexpected and the joy of catching the moment of their newly found existence!

Enjoy.

Servicing Oak Grove and Hopkinsville in Kentucky,  Clarksville and Nashville in Tennessee (and everything in between).

Am willing to travel to Columbia, TN and other places on case by case basis.

Once again, Shady Valley, TN.  Foggy Barn.

As I was driving to Nashville today the weather was breathing down my neck with a beautiful fog engulfing the scenery.  Not really knowing where we were going to shoot today, we quickly found some hidden treasures in the midst of the neighborhood.  With a little slipping and sliding by the water and the sun turning the day into a gorgeous backdrop of light, it did not take us long to enjoy the time we spent while creating this pictures.  At least I did! :)

Allison is such a beautiful woman with Brad making up the other part of this good-looking couple!  Oh yeah, and for allegedly not liking to look into the camera, I think Brad did very well… :)

Enjoy a few sample pictures.

I had to put this one in – I just happened to catch this:

Wild Lily.  Shady Valley, TN.  On the way to try to find an old moon-shining road.  For questions on that, ask my mother-in-law… :)

Picture #3:

There is a reason why I am usually behind the camera.  In this instance I was not technically behind the camera and yet it was I who took the picture….  a rare occasion.

Picture #2:

This mushroom was in our front yard this spring.  Nothing fancy about it, just naturally intricate.

After being inspired by others out there by the Cans for Comments 2009, I would like to take a little bit different approach to this idea.

Instead of donating one can for every comment posted, I will donate one bottle of vitamins for women and children in developing countries, through the African Christian Hospitals (IHCF), for every 10 comments posted.  I will honor this for comments starting now until the end of the year.

To provide food for thought (comments), I will post one new picture every two days.  These pictures will vary from all of the different aspects of my passion for photography and will help motivated me to wrap up some of the many projects I have going on…

So, here is #1:

This was created with the help of my stunningly beautiful sister-in-law, Lauren.  During one of my many projects she provided me with the inspiration and beauty I needed.

Chris and Tara

Wow, alright.  I don’t even know where to start…  I really should be finishing up other things, but I will go ahead and post a “few” select pictures of their big day last Saturday.

I love these two.  Tara’s family has taken us in as their own, especially while Grant was deployed to Iraq, and I was so proud to have been able to share this day with them.

Jonah and Abner were in the wedding and so I was more a “sideline” professional photographer (in case they needed their Mama and I would be distracted), but they did great and let Mama work. :)

Tara and Chris are such an amazing, loving, gorgeous couple.  I hope I captured their true essence and that of their first day together as Mr. and Mrs. Thomas.

Enjoy!

I will start with posting some of Tara’s Bridal Session, since I have had to hold off on them until the wedding, so that Chris would not see them.  We shot for 6 hours, therefore naturally there are many, many pictures.  I will post a few of my favorites.  The full session can be viewed on my website.

The Friday before the Wedding, Tara had a Bridal Luncheon for her girls.  Here are two group pictures of that event.

MoB – Bride – MiLoB

Bride and lovely Bridesmaids.

The rest are of the Day itself.

Tara had this App on her phone with all sorts of different kinds of flatulent.  The entertainment while getting ready… :P

But there actually was real-live entertainment by Brennan and later also Khara and Megan.

This is my personal favorite.  My two men were so adorable.  Abner looked like a Mafia Don, and Jonah later got very upset when we took the tuxes off because he wanted to stay handsome!  :)  They did so well.  I was a very proud Mama.  (Of course they did not pose for any of the group pictures, but we’ll leave that aside…)

A fovirte shot of mine.

What a gorgeous bridesmaid!

Tammy and her little man.

About to meet his Bride for the first time.

About to meet her Groom for the first time.

Another one of my favorites.  Anticipation.

The veil is an heirloom, that was purchased by Tara’s aunt in Venice for her own wedding, later worn by Tammy, and now by Tara.  The detail is absolutely beautiful!

They just laid eyes on each other for the first time…

There was some inside joke about the glasses…

This is one of my favorites.  It makes me want to reach for Grant’s hand.

Tara was absolutely stunning!  Breathtaking, really…

The handsome groom (watching his stunning wife… :) )

Megan was not the only one who sang, but I love this shot of this beautiful woman.

Once again, an amazing cake creation by Tammy.  And it was yummy!

At the Groom’s cobbler, Chris was supposed to feed Tara after she fed him and instead he kept on feeding himself.

This is what I discovered on my way out to the car between the reception and the Mix n’ Mingle… It was just a little bit cold…

The first dance!

If later in my life, I look as stunning as Meme does, I will be very blessed!

Kicking off the shoes!

The rest of the pictures will be on my website later.

Please leave comments if so desired.  I would love any feedback. :)
